The Watchmen

Most people would regard the book as one of best graphic novels of all time, as well as one of the best things that probably has come from DC that didn't involved Batman or Superman. The movie however is almost a completely different story, directed by guy who did 300, makes the film in to an almost mediocre block buster film. The problem starts with the fact that a lot of movie is stripped when compared to comic book, there's little symbolism, scenes have been cut out, characters that had way more importance in comic aren't portrayed, but rather they make small appearances or barely do anything at all. The other thing's that make movie not so good is it try's too hard to focus on violence or sex, the script (while most of time follow's comic book scenes well) can be a bit cheesy, the movie doesn't explain events well especially for people who aren't familiar are gonna scratch there heads most of time, and finally the ending kills it for me, for not only was it completely different from book, but also the fact message of it wasn't delivered well and people who haven't read it aren't gonna quite understand. The movie though does have it ups such as good acting, sound track (despite one fucking song by chemical romance), action, and some of it's funny. Overall I'd say as fan I'm disappointed, yet I am happy at same time someone had put time and effort to make this, so while its not great it still good enough for me where I could probably watch it again, its just better off not taken seriously. My recommendation is for anybody who wants to enjoy Watchmen grab novel first and understand what it really about.

I honestly wanna see movie but problem is my family has very little to no money to spare. I keep hearing different things about it that just clench my teeth at times and wanna see it just so I can have an opinion and also be happy as a fan. The thing that bugs me most is some people were just in it for action and sex scenes, which is ok just I never go in for movie on just that reason rather I go in to see if acting was great and plot as well. I hope to see it this weekend or at least before march ends. Anyway thats all for now so lates.

Yeah this is first update I'm doing in 2009 and Febuary is nearly coming near to close. Anyway I've finished most of books I've gotten for x-mas but I still have about 4 books that I'm reading right now and the list just keeps piling up. The thing thats been keeping me busy is school yet I'm sick of it and much prefer to go community college at this point then be there, however I only have one year this and I think next year is gonna be toughest due to fact I have sibling thats gonna be there as a freshman and I'm gonna be senior. Its not that I hate her just I don't fully trust whats gonna happen and I'm actually curious what everyones reaction gonna be about her. Finally Oscars are coming this year and again don't care for it much, honestly movies are great just don't see what so special about it in first place. Well thats it for now so laters :/

Sick sick sick sick sick...will somebody just end my misery and put a bullet in my head?Well I've had it for about 5 weeks now and at this point I'm guessing it'll be 7. I don't know how I got something this bad or why but I've been stuck with it so long I'm bummed about it. You know whats really unfair?Fact I keep struggling with all this work and I can't ever just have 1 or 2 assignments cut off. I'm not saying I can't do it but once I start missing 5 homework assignments from 1 class then its just a pain in the ass. Regardless I still have to get caught up and today I'm probably gonna spend 2 hours on just getting 3 assignments done. I hope this is almost the end I don't want to carry it longer and I've done most I can.

A month that needs to end

I hate to say it but August is probably worst then July.Although I had some good times I've had a lot of shitty moments this month and seems like the ending is only getting worse by the minute. For one the house we moved in to isn't quite the dream home we thought it would be,the streets are busy,somebody shit gets stolen once or twice a week,there's a possible drug dealer nearby,and worst off we have an asshole neighbor that revs his bike in morning. We could sell it but problem is we haven't paid back my grandfather and because we used a hundred thousand they'll tax us for it. My EP that I made turn out bad as well,what had happen was I finally recorded vocals and it came out too mumbled as well it wasn't that strong of a voice, I feel that 4 tracks wasn't good enough and there were only 3 when you get down to it, so I've decided to scrap this one in order for a better one in future. The third problem we've had which is obvious what I mention before is money and I've noticed because I've been eating less and less then what I'm used to, I'm not skinny but my appetite is starting so slowly dwindle a bit. As of tomorrow I'm single again so don't feel sorry for me because honestly this shit wasn't really working out in first place and its obvious she hasn't cared either. My last problem which actually might help me is school,As much as I don't want to go back it does help me get away from life's problems at home,it does however give me some goals and keeps my mind off of other problems. I hope tomorrow is successful with schedules and that rest of this month ends quickly.Until then later.

I dunno why but for some reaons most of my friend's blogs haven't been updated since July.I wonder if its because of twitter. Anyway I recently saw Dark Knight and I thought it was one of best comic book movie in awhile. My gf is getting one of my kittens finally and I'm really happy about it. I'm got 3 songs down, 4 if I can figure out how to write music. Schools coming up and I'm sorta looking forward to it and sorta not. by way I realized that July was month with least amount of updates for some reason. My EP release is going to be August 17th so I'll have a myspace set up by then and a facebook if anybody is interested in adding me.One more thing I've decided I'm gonna post two songs I like every week that featured two different artists.I'll them up by tonight until then later

I finally bought a mixer and although its not what I'd orignally planned I'm cool with it. I also got a microphone to for vocals wether it be rapping or singing so I hope that turns out succesful. I also bought two books yesterday. 1 Book is called Me in Little Faith by Lewis Black which obviously he makes fun of religion as well his own experiences, and 2nd book I got was a Shin Chan manga which is really really funny although its not as good as anime though. I plan to make a myspace account once my EP has been finished. So thats it for now I wish everybody a good week.

Well where to start.My first week at living in this house has come and gone. I'm used to living here by now and I enjoy it. My b-day happened and I turned 17, I went on date with my gf and had a family dinner that day. I did nothing on 4Th of July though I did see some fire works seeing how they were getting shot off in my neighborhood. I change look of my blog, rather than changing the template I change color schemes,fonts,and change the photo. I'm not trying to be dark just putting out a different taste. I got $115 for my b-day and might get more. I'm still waiting for my drum machine to get in mail. I also might be able to work for my grampa a couple times this week. I also have 4 kittens 2-3 of them will be put up for adoption in 5 weeks so if anybody is interested in one just email me about it. Well thats all, I'm gonna get back on scratching and playing guitar again later.

Ok this is really funny. My sister made a bet with me if that she beat my age on Wii sports I'd have to snort sugar.Instead she lost by one year (My age was 27, hers was 28). So before she started I got the cam to record and it was hilarious! So I guess I ate a lot on my bike ride today. I bought Sour patch kids and Twix(4 bars) and ate that on my bike ride to Soquel. Then I went down to Bagelry got a Bagel with tomato, cream cheese, and pesto on it. I ate that at parking lot next to church and then I head home. Overall awesome.

A lot things actually. I got a game yesterday called Disgaea for PSP. Its a really good RPG and I suggest getting it if your an RPG fan or love anime. I order my drum machine this week and I can't wait to get it. My cat had kittens today and they're cute <3. She had 4 of them 1 white, 2 black, and 1 mixed. Well I have some good news and some bad news. The Good new is I move next week. The bad news is its on Saturday of Beau's party and I have to miss it ;-;. and thats all. Sadly :( I haven't been able to see my girlfriend and I can't call her cause shes at her dads >.<. Oh and I just gotta say I couldn't get a gym membership just cause I didn't have enough money. I went to 24 hour gym but gave up because they're taking too long.

Well theres a lot going in my life. School is finally over for me starting tomorrow. I'm not single anymore (I'm dating Ashely a girl who is year older than me as of July 3rd). I'm gonna start moving my stuff more as well paint the rental I currenlty live in (Because its requierment from the land lord). My b-day is coming up in less than month and I hope to get a drum machine.
I will be living in a new house by then which is bad and good. The Pros: New house, no more ants,spiders,insects, (and bugs I can't name), I live next to a liqour store(woot), I also get the desk in my living room which will help my turntables, and it'll be easier to get down town. The cons: Smaller living space, school is farther(have to get up earlier), and it'll be harder to get to friends house. All in all the pros out weigh cons and I'm happy about it. By way one last thing is EP is probably not gonna happen as soon as I planned but I plan to practice more and get better in music. Well thats all for now later

A BS Review

This was record got today. From the start I could see this was gonna be a weird record.The front of it has a zombiesh computer nerd look.The record was pink which is a special edition. The sound of record is a drum kinda bass record, it relys on mostly samples and drum beats. The record itself was light and flexible. When I was spinning with it I noticed how fast I could move it. Here what realized about record though...its not type record you'd listen to, infact the record is better for DJs and producers. In all good fun though its a good record to mess with and some of beats are worth sampling or for bands. I'd give it a 4/5 for DJs/Producers but for average Drum and Bass Fan they didn't really miss much in late 90's.

Lol that was band name we had for battle of bands. I had fun doing it though I felt how it went didn't go as well planned for one
1.Most of members were late because of teachers
2.Took too long to set up instruments
3.Unprepared
4.There Mike volume problems
5.and Nick's keyboard was messing up half
There was also fact we didn't hand out many sandwich's as we thought we were and there was no table to put them out.Though overall Ihad a good time and it gave me a small idea of what artist's do as performers though I'm not quite sure if I'll do it next year.I hope to continue make music.
